Hiding Torrent Client From Unauthorised Access

You may come across a situation where you wanted to restrict others from accessing Your Torrent Client.

The Way To do it is using the feature call 'Boss Key - Password'.


Step - 1

Open Your Torrent Client and go to Preferences Under Options menu.


Step - 2

• Under General Tab, Find an Option Named 'Boss Key - Password'.
• Select that Option.
• Place Your Cursor in Text Box Named Boss Key and Press Any Alphabet.

                         Alt + 'Your Preferred Alphabet' = Boss Key

• Give the password in Password Textbox
• Click Apply and OK.

Step - 3

In Order to Close or Open your Torrent Client Use Boss Key.

To Make it a Permanent Setting

If you Installed Torrent via Installer

After Performing above Steps

Go To Start => RUN => Type msconfig => Click OK

Under StartUp, Untick the Torrent Client and Restart

Thats It

Only the Persons who know the Boss Key and Password will be the ones who can access torrent Client
